Privacy Policy
What we store when you use petropole.id, why, and how you can have it deleted.
1. Who we are
This site is run by PETROPOLE (café, grooming and pet hotel), Ruko Beach Boulevard, Golf Island, Kawasan Pantai Maju, Jl. Pantai Indah Kapuk No.2 Blok D, Jakarta Utara 14460, Indonesia. "We" in this policy means PETROPOLE.
2. What we collect
- Account data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google name, email address and profile photo. If you sign up with email, we store your name and email; your password is stored hashed by our authentication provider and we cannot see it.
- Contact details. The name and WhatsApp number you enter when booking.
- Pet details. Your pet's name, species, breed, weight and care notes, plus documents we upload for you (grooming reports, photos, vaccine notes).
- Booking details. Service, date, time slot or stay dates, price estimate and booking status.
We use no advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Your browser keeps your sign-in session and any unfinished booking in local storage so it survives a page reload.
3. How we use Google user data
Data from Google (name, email, profile photo) is used only to create and recognise your account, prefill your name on the booking form, and contact you about your bookings. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google data. We do not sell, rent or share your Google data for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Why we use your data
- To receive, confirm and carry out grooming and pet hotel bookings.
- To reach you on WhatsApp about schedules, changes or your pet's condition.
- To show your booking history and pet records on your Account page.
- To care for your pet safely, for example remembering sensitive skin or allergies.
5. Who can see your data
Only you and the PETROPOLE team. Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) under access rules that let each user read only their own records; pet documents are private and opened through short-lived links. The site is hosted by Vercel. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own policy. We sell data to no one, and disclose it to authorities only when the law requires.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. Booking history is kept for service and bookkeeping. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, pet and document data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) you may access, correct, get a copy of, and ask us to delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Some of this you can do yourself on the Account page; for the rest, contact us. You can also remove PETROPOLE's access from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
8. Children
The service is meant for pet owners aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. We will announce significant changes on the site.
